How to install

This is a mod for Yugioh Virtual Dueling (or YVD), a program to simulate the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game online.
This mod will not function without YVD, which can be downloaded here
You will also need YVD Mod itself, which can be found here.

In this guide, 'C:\YVD Mod' is used as an example of where you've extracted the mod files,
and 'C:\YVD' is used as an example of where you've installed YVD.

*Backups
It is recommended that you backup your files first.
You can simply copy 'C:\YVD' as 'C:\Copy of YVD', but to safe disk space, you can only backup the following files:
-'C:\YVD\yvd.set' ; safe as 'C:\YVD\yvd.set.bak'
-'C:\YVD\token.cnl' ; safe as 'C:\YVD\token.cnl.bak'
-'C:\YVD\token.ptcg' ; safe as 'C:\YVD\yvd.ptcg.bak'

*Updating
To install the new cards, move the file 'yvd.set' from 'C:\YVD Mod .2' to 'C:\YVD'.
To install the new tokens, move the files 'token.cnl' and 'token.ptcg' from 'C:\YVD Mod .2' to 'C:\YVD'.
To install the images of the cards and new tokens, move the maps inside 'C:\YVD Mod .2\Images' to 'C:\YVD\Images'.

*Manual updating
The yvd.set file that you have just downloaded include all cards released until The Duelists Genesis, plus the custom cards.
If you are using a custom or rare set yourself and don't want certain cards, you can manually update your current yvd.set.
Open the new yvd.set you just downloaded with Notepad/Wordpad and search for 'Snow Fairy'.
Now select every text in the line of 'Snow Fairy' and the lines under it.
Open your current yvd.set and go to the bottom line.
If it is not an empty line, enter a new line so that you are at an empty line.
Now paste everything you've just copied from the new yvd.set and safe it.

The same can be done with token.cnl and token.ptcg, starting from 'Orichalcos Aristeros Token'.
If you don't want to replace the map 'token' in 'C:\YVD\images' because it already contains custom token images,
copy every image in 'C:\YVD Mod .2\images\token' that is listed under 'Gift Fiend Token' in the new 'token.cnl'.

If anything is unclear, feel free to ask your question here and I will help you out.
